What We Do & Mission Statement

  • Our support for children is categorized by:
    Focus on the strengths of individuals, families, groups, and organizations while implementing personal strengths to aid recovery and empowerment.
  • Create personal associations and relationships within the community to enhance the quality and security of life for our mentee’s.
  • Help stabilize behaviors in order to manage strong feelings and make better behavioral choices.
  • Encourage and develop prosocial behaviors so mentee’s gain or strengthen their ability to have concern for the rights, feelings, and welfare of other people.
  • Applying the CAF assessment, we identify children who have additional needs, and then provide them with a coordinated, multi-agency support plan to those needs.
    Who is able to receive our support:
  • Children ranging from early childhood to adulthood. Typically, between the ages of 4-24. Must reside in CT.
  • Children struggling with behavioral health who may face stress, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, addiction, learning disabilities, mood disorder, and more.
  • Children who are chronically absent from school without permission or valid reason.
  • Children who have been found guilty by a judge of committing a delinquent act.
